At Pneuma Ministry Institute, we recognize that each leader's journey is unique. That’s why we offer a variety of specialized training tracks to align with your specific calling and ministry context. You can choose from:

 

• Fivefold Ministry Tracks: Equip yourself in one of the fivefold ministry roles—Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Shepherd, or Teacher. These tracks provide focused training to help you excel in your specific calling.

• General Ministry and Spiritual Formation Tracks: If you are uncertain of your specific calling but feel a strong desire to prepare for service in the church and the body of Christ, this track is ideal. It offers comprehensive training in general ministry skills and spiritual formation, helping you grow in your faith, develop leadership abilities, and become better equipped to serve wherever God may lead you.

• Church Ministry Leadership Tracks: For those who are stepping into or currently hold church leadership responsibilities, this track is designed to enhance your skills in leading and supporting church functions, whether you're a church elder, small group leader, or ministry coordinator.

• Specialized Shepherding/Leadership Tracks: For those called to unique pastoral and missional roles, such as House Church Leaders, Prayer Hub Leaders and Community Shepherds, our specialized tracks offer the tools and insights needed to serve effectively in these unconventional ministries.

• Itinerant Ministry Tracks: Ideal for those who feel called to serve beyond the traditional church setting, this track focuses on preparing Itinerant Evangelists and Prophets for impactful ministry on the move.

Comprehensive Training for All Leadership Roles

No matter which track you choose, Pneuma School of Ministry offers a curriculum designed to meet you where you are, whether you're actively serving or preparing for future ministry opportunities.

NOTE:  Training does not call you!  However, training enables you to answer your call with greater effectiveness!

We emphasize:

• Contextual Learning: Develop your skills within the environment you’re already serving, or apply what you learn to prepare yourself for future ministry opportunities. Our training ensures that what you learn is immediately applicable and impactful.

• Flexible Training Model: Our program combines a few on-site equipping weekends with ongoing online-based training, allowing you to learn while staying engaged with your current responsibilities, whether in ministry or elsewhere.

 

Training for Conventional and Unconventional Ministries

Our curriculum is designed to support both traditional and innovative ministry approaches:

• Conventional Ministries: We provide comprehensive training for conventional church leadership roles, including small group leaders, ministry leaders, elders, pastors, and teachers

• Unconventional Ministries: We also offer equipping tracks for unique missional approaches like Prayer Hub Leaders, House Church Leaders, Community Shepherds, as well as Itinerant Evangelistic and Prophetic Ministries.

Differences between Licensure and Ordination

​

Not everyone that enters our program of study is seeking licensure and ordination.  For those who are, here are the differences and purposes: 

​

Licensure:

• Purpose: Licensure is granted to individuals who are actively engaged in ministry but are still developing in their calling. It formally recognizes their commitment and progress.

• Key Benefits: Licensed ministers receive extensive training and oversight, recognized as ministers but may not yet meet all the requirements for ordination. Licensure is often a step toward ordination.

• Commitment: Licensed ministers are expected to continue their education, demonstrate ministerial effectiveness, and adhere to ethical and doctrinal standards

 

Ordination:

• Purpose: Ordination represents the highest level of recognition, designated for those with a Five-fold Ministry calling, who have demonstrated strong leadership abilities and completed all educational and experiential requirements associated with licensure. Following licensure, ordination emphasizes a Five-fold ministry internship or ministry project development, equipping ministers for comprehensive ministry responsibilities.

• Key Benefits: Ordained ministers are fully recognized leaders, authorized to perform all ministerial functions, including sacraments, weddings, funerals, and other rites. It often signifies a vocational calling to ministry.

• Commitment: Ordained ministers are expected to lead with integrity, continue their development, and mentor others within the association.
