We are inviting churches, prayer groups, houses of prayer and other believers to set aside the first six days of the year as a time of prayer fasting and consecration that we are calling “seeking the reward of fire.”

THE REWARD OF FIRE

Fire is intimacy with the Lord.  During times of intimacy with God you can expect to be energized, transformed, purified, empowered and strengthened. You can also expect the Lord to reveal vision and strategy as you tarry in his presence.

 

Fire weakens the structures of the enemy. As you learn to tarry in prayer, you can expect the strong hold of the enemy to be weakened in your life, your family, your church, community and region.

We believe that 2023 will be a great year of Kingdom Advance. But that will only be possible through the fire of the Lord. The fire that energies you and weakens the enemy.

 

So we are inviting you to take the first six days of 2023 and seek the reward of fire.

 

 HOW TO BE INVOLVED 

Participate personally.  Take time each day, January 1-6, 2023, to pray and fast. Submit the form at the bottom of the page and subscribe to receive updates from APC Ministries and we will send you daily prayer focuses and other support resources.  (For more information on fasting read this article.)

 

Host a Prayer Site.  We are asking as many of you who can to create space for those 6 days to invite others to come and seek the reward of fire with you.   This could be in a church sanctuary, a meeting room, or wherever you can gather others to soak, tarry and wait in the Presence of the Lord.  You don’t have to have a worship team or a strong agenda. Just some space, background worship music and a willingness to tarry in His presence.

 

Please register if you are hosting a prayer site so we can send you support materials as well let others in your community know they can gather with you to pray.

 

We encourage you to consecrate yourself and seek the reward of fire with us in 2023.
